I am living in the interior of Panama and mine take a beating but have not disappointed. Before I retired I admired cargo pants from afar but they looked goofy in my working environment. Man, have I ever.
I want pants that do not ride up my buttocks. Those five things are the criteria for me. If 32X34 was the same fit for every brand and style, I would've found the perfect pants a long, long, long, long time ago. Black-color attracts lint - x29 size diff. My complaints concern this Black color since they seem to attract lint and things and it's hard to look clean and fresh with little white stuff stuck all over your pants.
Takes just a minute or two to fix that right up - but in the darker colors the lint will find you. That was a really good return on my money.
The reinforced pockets have held up great as most start to rip at the pocket seams after repeated washings. Great pants, great price. My job working with steel has destroyed all my old jeans, so I was looking for a cheap yet durable replacement that fit me.
Man, have I ever. They're loose and comfortable. Have yet to tear where as my old jeans got shredded in a hurry. Not stain proof of course, but clean up well and stay in shape after multiple washes. I started out with 2 pair of the camo on a whim, figuring I'd destroy them in a hurry but they were cheap enough to buy more since they fit me and were so comfortable when trying them on. That was a while ago and I'm still wearing them. I have since bought more of them, in camo and the dark color for work as well as the light khaki for going out.
These have totally phased out my other work pants and I couldn't be happier. I bought my first two pair from the store since I'm usually a hard fit 40x34 usually, but the 40x32 works fine in these , but have ordered the rest online and they all fit equally well. The open top pocket on the left leg is perfectly sized for the wireless phones that we use in the plants. Black does hide grease a bit better than the tan ones, however I do find that my fluffy white cat is attracted more to these pants than my other ones. Cargo pockets have pleats, so they will fit more than just something flat. Pants look best if taken out of the dryer warm and not too dry use the energy efficiency setting and then hung, or pressed; they are a bit prone to getting wrinkled if allowed to cool and dry in a pile.
After a wash or two, leg pockets will not be flat unless they are pressed. AC10A, May 1, I'd rather shop at a store. I like to try pants on before I buy them. Legacy Cargo Pants 36x I use these for work, play, getting stuff done. The extra pockets are what sells these. These jeans are much tougher than other cargo pants, ripstop materials tends to rip kind of easy.
I'd advise Wrangler to add another set of pockets too. Hot Topic, quite awhile back, had a cargo type black jean with an extra set of pockets below the knee, but not in my large size. Time to think outside the box! The fit is awesome, and the overall quality is superb. I especially like the metal closure buttob--so much better than a plastic sew-on. I need to buy my uncle 4 pair and haven't been in stock for months.
